Carrie Lew, EdD

Dr. Carrie Lew recently retired from 26 years in leadership roles at the USC Suzanne Dworak-Peck School of Social Work. She developed several programs: DSW@USC, professional and career development, continuing education, alumni relations, Global (international) MSW, admissions, financial aid, and the development of non-traditional social work employment opportunities. Dr. Lew was a faculty advisor for the Asian Pacific Islander Caucus, which created an endowed lectureship and scholarships. Her other experience includes serving as a counselor and account management consultant for the largest employee assistance/managed care firm in the country. She also worked for the Los Angeles County Department of Children and Family Services-Adoptions and provided consultation on diversity for a major health care organization. As a licensed clinical social worker, Dr. Lew has a private practice consulting on independent adoptions.
